What is ECREAS?

ECREAS is a virtual platform where its members can share their experiences and where materials can be downloaded. Although we have an office in Brussels it is not a big centre that can be visited. The main activities are taking place in a virtual environment.
ECREAS offers providers of elderly care the opportunity

to learn from each other, to collaborate in networks to create new ideas, to gain knowledge about the latest research results and to find support to implement improvements and innovations.

The 10.000 providers and directors in elderly care and services in 30 countries that ECREAS connects, who all do their best to offer the best quality of care and services, form a source of knowledge and experience with each other. However, there is not much exchange between countries and their providers.
ECREAS want to fill this gap by offering a network where members of the European Ageing Network (former EAHSA and EDE) by offering:
- the opportunity to learn from each other
- to collaborate in networks to create new ideas
- to gain knowledge about the latest research results
- to find support to implement improvements and innovations.
