Welcome to the website of the European Centre for Research and Education in Ageing Services (ECREAS).ECREAS is an initiative of the European Ageing Network (EAN) and connects 10.000 providers and directors in elderly care in 20 countries!
ECREAS is not a physical centre: it is a digital platform where information can be exchanged.
The first functions of ECREAS is being a clearinghouse for best practices and relevant (applied) research reports and articles and European datalinks.
The second function is to set up education programmes for management of providers and related sectors in Europe and beyond based on the latest academic research and best practices .
The activities of ECREAS focuses on four themes:- Quality in ageing services
- Elderly care workforce
- Technology
- Living environments
