ECREAS starts with a EU-China platform to exchange knowledge.
ECREAS took the initiative to set up a platform between service providers and entrepeneurs in elderly care in Europe and China. This platform is meant to learn from each other with the goal to improve the quality of life of older people.On the 10th of August 2023, a meeting was organized at the Nanjing University (NJU) in Nanjing China, one of thre most prestigious universities in China. Professors from NJU discussed online with Dr. Elena Weber, in her role as fise Vice-President of Age Platform and Dr. Freek Lapré, Chair of ECREAS (in person) about the challenges we worlwide face with an ageing society and how we could learn from each other.
